Cookie Policy

This page explains what Crush Test stores in your browser and why.

Strictly necessary (no consent needed)

• Local storage keys starting with yt:: your quiz link and its secret key, the name you typed, your answers in progress, and whether you already played a friend's quiz. Without these the quiz cannot work. They stay until you clear site data or delete your link.
• Session storage: remembers that the "create your own quiz" pop-up was shown, for the current tab only.

Analytics (with your consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland)

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which steps of a quiz people complete. Google sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies (up to 2 years). If you decline, Analytics runs in cookieless mode and only sends anonymous, aggregated signals.

Advertising (with your consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland)

Ads are served by Google AdSense. Google and its certified ad partners may set cookies such as IDE, test_cookie and __gads to personalise and measure ads. Decline and you still see ads, but non-personalised ones. See Google's partner sites policy and Ads Settings.

Change your choice

In the EEA, UK and Switzerland a consent dialog appears on your first visit. You can reopen it at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer and withdraw or change your consent. Outside those regions no consent dialog is shown; you can block cookies in your browser settings.
